Window Comfort – Guarantee Terms & Conditions
1. Energy Savings Guarantee
Window Comfort offers a 35% Energy Savings Guarantee to qualifying homeowners in Georgia. This guarantee applies to the energy performance of Window Comfort’s exclusive factory-direct window line.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applies only to residential properties located in the state of Georgia.
Homeowners must replace all primary windows in the home with qualifying Window Comfort windows to be eligible. Partial replacements do not qualify.
The homeowner must be the original purchaser; this guarantee is non-transferable.
Guarantee Terms:
If the homeowner does not achieve at least a 35% reduction in home energy usage in the 12 months following installation compared to their previous baseline usage, Window Comfort will pay the difference between the actual savings and the guaranteed 35%.
Homeowners must provide 12 consecutive months of post-installation utility bills to verify energy usage after the installation.
Claims must be submitted within 60 days following the first 12-month period after installation.
Refund amounts, if any, will be processed within 90–120 days of claim approval.
This guarantee does not apply if major renovations or system upgrades (e.g., HVAC, roofing, siding, insulation) are completed during the claim period that would materially affect energy usage.
2. Buy-Back Guarantee (Money Back Guarantee)
Window Comfort offers a one-year Buy-Back Guarantee for qualifying customers who are not 100% satisfied with their windows. If you’re not fully satisfied within the first 12 months, Window Comfort will buy your windows back and refund the full purchase price — no risk, no games.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applies only to residential properties in Georgia.
Applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
The homeowner must have had the windows installed for at least 12 months and must submit their claim within 60 days after the 12-month anniversary of the installation date. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
Windows must be in good working condition, with normal wear and tear allowed.
Homeowners must provide proof of a signed contract with a licensed, established window replacement company (brick-and-mortar business) for the installation of new replacement windows.
Refund applies to the full original purchase price paid for the windows, including installation, with no deductions.
Refunds will be processed within 90–120 days of claim approval.
Process:
Submit a written claim through WindowComfort.com or by mail within 60 days following the 12-month anniversary of installation.
Provide proof of purchase and proof of the new replacement contract.
Window Comfort will schedule removal of the windows.
Once the windows are uninstalled and returned, the refund will be processed within 90–120 days.
3. General Conditions (Applicable to All Guarantees)
All claims are subject to verification by Window Comfort.
Window Comfort reserves the right to inspect the property and the windows prior to processing any guarantee claims.
Guarantees are valid only for products purchased directly from Window Comfort and installed by Window Comfort’s in-house installation teams.
Window Comfort reserves the right to amend or discontinue these guarantees at any time; however, any changes will not affect guarantees already in effect for past purchases.
Any disputes related to these guarantees will be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
